For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

I have a version I'm working on that automatically crops any custom image into the shape of the badge. Has problems at the moment tho - it will crop but then the resize bit dosn't work - but I think I know how to iron them out!
Will keep you posted. Thanks for the comment!
(By the way, if you look in the resources folder you'll see the default top images. You can mod any of these (or copy elsewhere and use as a template for your own custom image). I plan to include a default dA logo at some stage.
I suggest saving your own deer avatar as a .png then set it as a custom top image and use the badge as a link to your devianArt! If you make sure your image is in 50% grey with a transparant background you will be able to use all the colourise options on it! Enjoy!)
ok ok i am going to keep trying with all that stuffs!!!
your such a smarty pants

Y!W is an amazing piece of software and the ability to have widgets on the desktop is something I miss. BUT, it does use a few system resources -- even on my beast of a computer. That, and the projects I was working on fell apart, and I had trouble finding ppl that could help code my ideas (since I'm not too hot at coding).
I turned the badges concept into a CD Art Display skin [link]
It's not likely that the badges widget for Y!W will ever be finished sorry.
